this professional-style embroidery machine comes standard with many features and stitches usually found only at the very top-of-the-line. for instance, it's completely compatible with the optional scan 'n sew pc which allows you to scan in or download images from the internet for full color embroidery. the display screen tells you everything you need to know, so you can spend your time sewing instead of searching through an instruction book.
the new memory craft 5700 makes sewing faster and easier with features like a speed control lever that allows you to stitch at your optimum pace. it comes loaded with 70 built-in stitches, including 5 different buttonholes, ranging from keyhole to stretch. and the start/stop button can be used for regular sewing without having to use the control pedal.
the machine's lcd visual touch screen is back-lit so you can easily read the instructions. and in case you don't want to sew in english, the mc 5700 offers instructions in your choice of seven other languages. a key feature is the upper thread breakage sensor - indispensable for the repetitive needle action of professional-style embroidery.
