now pe-design version 2.5 is available with new improved features! if you use pe-design version 2.0x, please upgrade your software to the latest version 2.5 (english).

main new features to version 2.5;

how to identify the version

to confirm your version of pe-design:
  1. open the pe-design program.
  2. go to "layout & editing".
  3. click [help] - [about layout & editing] on menu.
  4. confirm that the version is 2.0x. this software is applicable only to version 2.0x.

how to download and update

there are two ways to download this file : directly to your hard drive, or to your hard drive to be placed on floppy disks.

how to download directly to your hard drive:

  1. make a temporary directory on your hard drive to save the file to be downloaded.
  2. click the "download file" link below.
  3. select the temporary directory where the downloaded file should be stored.
  4. download the file.
  5. for the instruction sheets of version.2.5, please click the "download instuctions" below.
  6. please note that the folder names which you installed this update program and the program name on the start menu do not change to version 2.5, and remain version 2.0.

how to update the software
  1. double click on the file (pede25.exe) in explorer. or click [start] on the task bar, choose [run], type [pede25], and then press the ok button. e.g. c:/temp/pede25
  2. the program will automatically scan the folders of pe-design and update it.
how to download to floppy disks:

  1. make a temporary directory on your hard drive to save the file to be downloaded.
  2. click the "download" link below.
  3. select the temporary directory where the downloaded file should be stored.
  4. download the 1st file, then repeat for the 2nd file.
  5. double-click "pede251.exe", you will see a new folder "disk1", then copy files in the disk to your floppy disk.
  6. double-click "pede252.exe", you will see a new folder "disk2", then copy files in the disk to your another floppy disk.
  7. for the instruction sheets of version.2.5, please click the "download instuctions" link below.
  8. please note that the folder names which you installed this update program and the program name on the start menu do not change to version 2.5, and remain version 2.0.

  1. double click on the file (setup.exe) in the disk1 in explorer. or click [start] on the task bar, choose [run], type [setup], and then press the ok button. e.g. a:/setup
  2. the program will automatically scan the folders of pe-design and update it. (in the middle of this operation, please replace the disk1 with the disk2, following to the message appeared on the screen.)
