Janome walking foot

This even feed foot sometimes referred to as a walking foot is designed with a set of feed dogs (teeth)

that allows fabric to feed with out shifting and eliminates the problem of the underlaying fabric from coming up short. (in other words the top and bottom fabric have moved apart)

The even foot is also great for top stitching which can be spoilt due to irregularity of stitching (annoying)

This is often due to the bulk created with the seam allowance especially around collars and reveres. Using the walking foot for top stitching will eliminate the problem and give a perfectly even stitch every time. Also includes quilting guide.
